Achieve Corporation Ltd is owned and controlled by Mark Ross Roberts. There is no external shareholder, no investor and no third party with any interest in the business. All intellectual property and copyright in the material published here belongs to Achieve Corporation Ltd.

Why the parent matters here

Achieve Corporation is a corporate finance and mergers and acquisitions practice. Thirty years of that work is where the market intelligence behind this practice comes from. Senior vacancies start in private events, a deal completing, a founder exiting, an investor running out of patience with a chief executive, and the role reaches the public market weeks or months after the decision has already begun. Sitting on the deal side is what makes those events visible before the advert exists. The ownership is published here because it is the reason the access argument on this site is true, and because anybody can check it at Companies House in about a minute.

Who pays for the work sold on this site

The person receiving it. No employer, no recruiter, no search firm and no third party funds any part of a career representation engagement.

That is the whole position of this practice, so it is published rather than asserted in marketing copy. Every search consultant an executive has ever dealt with was paid by the employer. Nothing in that is an accusation. It is simply how the fee structure has worked for fifty years, and what follows from it is that the executive is the only person in a senior appointment with nobody paid to be on their side. Publishing the funding is how that becomes checkable rather than rhetorical.

No employer ever pays

No part of the group takes a fee, commission or benefit from an employer in connection with the appointment of anybody Headhunters International represents. Corporate finance work is billed to the parties to a transaction and has nothing to do with hiring. Corporate-side search is not sold on this site.

Conflict of interest

Where an engagement would put the group on both sides of the same appointment, the representation work does not proceed and the client is told why.

Four. Mark Ross owns the practice, carries out every client engagement and answers every inbound enquiry personally. Three researchers, engaged on contract, carry out market mapping and target list construction. They are paid by Headhunters International and take no fee from any employer.
